Moorhead Babe Ruth Baseball and Fast Pitch Softball Association

1. HOW DO I REGISTAR MY CHILD? On line or down load a form at www.moorheadbaseball.com
2. WHEN DOES THE SEASON START? Clinic's start the 3rd week of April for baseball. Practice's start the 1st. week of May with game's starting the 3rd week of May for baseball.Practice and games for fastpitch when school is out
3. WHEN IS THE SEASON OVER? The end of July for most team's unless you qualify for a state tourn. which held Aug.1-3.
4. WHAT ARE THE BOUNDRIES? 9-12 year old baseball players can be from the surrounding area in MN. as long as their home town does not have Cal Ripken baseball. 13-18 baseball player's must live in the Moorhead school dist.unless their home town does not have Babe Ruth baseball. Fast pitch players must live in the Moorhead school dist. unless their home town does not have ASA softball.
5. WHAT DAY'S OF THE WEEK DO WE PRACTICE AND PLAY? All team's practice and play game's Mon.-Thurs. Unless they play in a week end tournament.Games start at 5:30(2games) for 9-12 and 6:30 for 13-15
6. WHAT DO WE NEED? All player's need to supply their own glove,pant's and shoes. The assn. will supply all other item's such as bat's, ball's,catcher's gear, hat's,jersey's, and first aid.
7. ARE THERE FUND RAISER'S? Yes, there are two that all player's will have. One is a pizza sales (18 each) and the other is a steay fry (4 tickets).
8. WHAT ARE THE AGES? For both baseball and fast pitch 9-18. Age chart's are found in the on line reg. area.
9. DO WE HAVE TRAVEL TEAM'S? There are travel team's for baseball age's 12-15

11. CAN WE PLAY WITH FRIEND'S? You can reguest this but there are no guarantee.

12. ARE SIBLING'S ON THE SAME TEAM? They will  be placed on the same team unless reguested not to. (same age group)

13. LOCATION OF FIELD'S. Practice and game's are held at Centennial.,High School,Concordia,Horizon and MSUM.

14. WHAT SHOE'S CAN THEY WEAR? BASEBALL PLAYER'S CAN ONLY USE RUBBER SPIKE'S FOR AGES 9 - 12. AGE'S 13 - 18 CAN WEAR METAL SPIKE'S.
